Since 2003, ATPF has been a provider of free services to people with autism and their families. Services include Early Intervention Preschool Screenings, Bridge to the Beach, and an amazing airport program, just to name a few.
A wonderful tool for math learners and loved by numerous teachers, VG Grid Paper is a downloadable specially designed grid paper for students who struggle with math calculation. The boxes are larger than and more elongated vertically than traditional grid paper. Printing double-sided is recommended.
This 2013 video, "I Can Fly," was produced by Joel Anderson for the Autism Tree Project Foundation on behalf of Jet Blue's Blue Horizons for Autism. It is a social story to teach ten basic steps to flying as a passenger in an airplane. It also includes a musical social story, "I Can Fly," written and performed by music therapist Angela Neve. The video stars then-11-year-old Vincent Ghio, who is an airplane, airport, and travel enthusiast.
